Wow!!! This place is simply beautiful. The food was delicious (pecan pie), it simply melted in my mouth. Didn’t feel like coffee as it was too late in the day, but the icy free glass of water was great. The cafe/store has a real community vibe with a real connectedness to people. I met friendly locals who worked/were involved in NDIS support aspects. I am so touched by the sentiments of inclusion for all abilities with NDIS participants, and the cafe/store won a recent award from an adjoining local council. Looking forward to my next visit where I’ll explore the all day brunch menu. I know friends and family will love it. Give it a go especially if you’re from the North!! Makes me proud

Such a cute little cafe. Food and drinks taste absolutely great here. The chef working here has many years experience in some of the best restaurants in Adelaide and you can taste and see that in his dishes. The staff are very friendly and will make you feel at home. The Cinnamon Scroll is definately worth try as well, sooooo good.

A secret gem nestled in the backstreets of Salisbury Heights and conveniently located opposite a large reserve! We love the staff, the food, the amazing pantry items, the inclusiveness... 10/10. It feels like family when we enter, even with our large tribe- they are quick to accommodate a larger table! With a beautiful kids corner, colouring pages and pencils on hand- this is one of my favourites!

first of all, the drinks are absolutely out of this world, the iced chocolate & latte is absolute perfection. every time i go in there the service is great and all the workers are kind, immediately taking my order but not rushing me. i ordered the chicken roll and the chips, chicken roll was chefs kiss and the chips were beautiful. the overall vibe of the store is immaculate, i think they have done a really good job with the cafe and giving individuals that struggle in the work environment a chance to be employed is truly amazing. All such beautiful souls!

Today, I had the ultimate comfort food: cauliflower and roasted garlic soup served with croutons and the most perfect sourdough toast: 10/10, a little bit of a spicy bite to it that was a very pleasant surprise. I followed it with their croissant bread and butter pudding served with vanilla gelato: 100/10, Every. Single. Bite. Was. Heaven. with a vanilla latte to finish it off: 10/10 I was running a little late but I didn’t want to rush the experience, it was so good! Add the super friendly staff and you have the perfect combination for my new favourite place to lunch!

This little volunteer-run café is such a gem in the community. From the moment you walk in, you're met with big smiles, a warm vibe, and casual but friendly service. The menu is simple (and still growing), but everything is fresh, tasty, and the baked goods are as good as any fancy place. You can feel the passion behind the food and the service, which makes it even more special. It's super relaxed, with great initiatives like discounts for certain professions, adding to the sense of community. Plus, knowing your visit supports a great cause just tops it all off—it's more than just a café, it's a feel-good experience. We'll be back!

Went to General Store at The Heart for brunch one Saturday. We were able to sit outside with a puppy and there was water in a dog bowl there already. The staff are all absolutely friendly. The menu is great, there is a slightly rotating menu generally with one vegan savoury option, plus a heap of vegan cakes/sweets in their cabinet. I had the vegan cinnamonscroll. It was absolutely delicious and quite large. I also got a puppachino for the puppy we were with. Please note in the picture the puppy has the cream from the puppachino on its face. It was very happy with it.

This cafe is more than a place to eat it’s a mission statement! It is an inclusive service partner of Wise. Once a week it services a group of individuals who are trained in operation and service skills, which can result in an employable position! The cafe promotes a feeling of inclusion and community.
